How to Publish a Resume, Interview, or On-Job Support Service

Configure pricing, opt-in options, and consultations so students can book your service end to end.

    Step-by-step guide

    1. 1

      Open the service builder

From the Instructor Dashboard sidebar, click Resume Session, Interview Session, or On Job Support. If you don't have a service published yet, click 'Set Up' to launch the multi-step builder.

    2. 2

      Title, description, and offerings

Write a clear title (e.g. 'ServiceNow Developer') and a description of what you deliver. Tick offerings that apply (Resume Review, Mock Interview, Project Help, etc.) so students can see your scope at a glance. The AI Generate button can draft the description from your title and offerings if you're stuck.

    3. 3

      Set pricing

Choose Hourly (recommended for ongoing support), Fixed Price (one flat fee, optionally split into 1–4 milestones), or both. Students will pick which model they prefer at booking time. The 5% student platform fee is added on top of the rate you set.

    4. 4

      (Optional) Allow student hour logging

On hourly services you can opt in to let students log their own hours, with each entry requiring your approval before it counts toward the weekly timesheet. Off by default — you log hours yourself and the student approves the weekly total.

    5. 5

      (Optional) Allow custom contract proposals

Toggle this on if you want students to be able to propose their own rate, fixed price, or start date instead of accepting your listed terms. You still review and accept or decline before any work begins — it just opens the door to negotiation.

    6. 6

      (Optional) Add a consultation

Enable the Consultation step to offer a short 1-on-1 video or chat call (15/30/45/60 min) that students can book before committing. Set the rate (or leave it Free) and pick which weekdays + time slots you're available in your timezone.

    7. 7

      Publish

You need a Wise payout method configured before publishing. Click Publish — the service goes live on your profile and on the Resume Help / Interview Help / On Job Support landing pages. You can edit or unpublish anytime without affecting existing engagements.
