Schedule a short 1-on-1 video call with a specialist — free or paid — before committing to a longer engagement.
Open a service detail page
Navigate to Resume Help, Interview Help, or On Job Support and pick a specialist. If they offer consultations, you'll see a 'Book Consultation' card on the right showing duration (e.g. 30min video call) and price (or 'Free').
Pick a date and time
Click Book Consultation. A scheduling dialog opens with the specialist's available days and time slots based on their weekly schedule. Pick a slot that works in your timezone — the timezone is shown next to each slot.
Pay (for paid consultations)
Paid consultations are pre-paid via Stripe in the booking dialog. Your saved card is pre-selected if you have one. Free consultations skip this step and confirm immediately.
Find it in My Learning
Confirmed consultations appear under My Learning → Dashboard in the Consultations section. They also show on the Course Schedule calendar. The specialist gets an email with the booking details.
Join the call
When it's time, open the consultation card and click 'Start Call'. The Zoom Video SDK room opens in a new tab — grant camera and microphone permissions and you're connected to the specialist.
Confirm afterwards
When the specialist ends the call, the consultation moves to 'Pending Confirmation'. Click 'Session Was Good' within 24 hours to release the specialist's payout and unlock the review prompt. If something went wrong, click 'Report an Issue' instead.
