    How to Join a Live Session

    Connect to your video session quickly and reliably from your My Learning dashboard.

    Step-by-step guide

      Open My Learning

      After logging in, click 'My Learning' in the top navigation bar. This is your personal dashboard for everything related to your courses and sessions.

      Go to the Sessions tab

      Inside My Learning, navigate to the Sessions section. You'll see your sessions organised by status: Upcoming, In Progress, Pending Confirmation, and Completed.

      Click 'Join' when it's time

      When your session is within the scheduled window, the 'Join' button will become active. Click it to launch the live video room. For classroom sessions, you'll share the room with other enrolled students.

      Allow camera and microphone access

      Your browser will ask for permission to access your camera and microphone. Click 'Allow'. If you accidentally deny it, refresh the page and try again — you can update permissions in your browser settings.

      Participate in the session

      You're now connected with your instructor in a Zoom-powered video room. You can use the built-in chat, share your screen, or enable/disable your camera and microphone at any time using the controls at the bottom of the screen.

      Confirm or report after the session ends

      Once the instructor ends the session, your booking status changes to 'Pending Confirmation'. You'll see two options: 'Session Was Good' to confirm it and release the instructor's payment, or 'Report an Issue' if something went wrong.
